Jane Tomlin - Last Request

I won't simply become the backdrop, background to the lifeless and uncreative,
Inspiration and ingenuity hide deep within me bubbling like a fresh, cool spring,
Talent is hidden by the need for others to prove their better by some means of vocal torture.
Ripped to shreds like bait on a hook.

I want to break free from the triviality of everyday life and the unbelievable pains of humanity.
I want to live in a world where I can watch the sunrise with the songbirds singing and the beauty of freedom from civilisation with no threats to our once green earth.

But to dream and accomplish would be an awfully big adventure.
