Truly an adult, finally at the age of responsibility, age of majority.
The key to the door can unlock the future.

Then the futuristic fantasy hits the cold damp floor of reality.
Debts start to build up, your newly opened credit cards and store cards have been cancelled within days.

You want to spend your life with the guy next door and although you don't need your parent's permission you still feel uneasy about telling them.
Marriage could make that load even heavier and your pockets and wallet are suffering already. Somehow I don't think I want to get to that age, it seems too much of a burden.
