I think I am losing my mind.
My thoughts and feelings
Are crowding
Prodding
Screaming down my ear,
Won't wait their turn:
I must be losing my mind.
Even when bedtime stories are done
My silence is not peace and quiet
But a dreaded place
A wide open space
Where my worst fears are poking at my mind
And self - doubt keeps shouting me down.
I need to scream
Or cry
But nothing will come
So here I sit,
Rigid
Imprisoned in my lethargy
And wait for Insanity to swallow me whole.
