Jane Roberts - Everyday Love
4 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
Are you feeling really clean
After washing away the ashes of the week?
Leave them at the bottom of the bath
In a ring around the sides
Gone forever
Until next week.
You look nice in that jumper
you look nice out of that jumper.
Take it off, let me touch you.
What blue eyes you have.
Put your scarf on
Shove your hands into your pockets
As we walk we slip into time
Although your legs are longer than mine.
They reach to the bottom of the bed
And your arms reach right around me.
Ready, steady, the start of the weekend,
Only a couple of nights to do it, think it, say it,
To rummage down to the bottom of the pile,
The things that are easy to say
You can say over and over and over again,
Noisily.
Ask me something, anything.
Answer me when I'm talking to you!
