Description
Long black raincoat
Slides along his ankles.
Ragged running shoes
Slap the sidewalk in applause.
His twilight beard decorates
A smile that gushes like
An open fire hydrant spraying serenity.
A happy hooligan.
Seemingly possessed
Of a teflon personality.
A jaunty ponytail
Sprouts from his scalp.
His swinging walk
Plays melodies in space.
Swiftly he passes
And re-enters the crowd
To dissolve back to anonymity
