How I wish you could ease the pain somehow

Years have passed, you're still here
Your smile, soft voice still linger
How could I accept the truth that you're gone
How could I give up, you were my man

Please help me do it
'Cause I've been yearning to forget
To forget not the memories and the jest
But for me to move my life for the best

I know you're happy now up there
Watching over me from afar 'till here
Sensing your embrace so warm
An angel who guards me from harm
