James Urwin - I Am A Traveller

I am a Traveller...with the whole world at my feet,
my travels are free...although never complete.

I travel and go...from place to place,
treated by many...like I am another race.

You fellow country men...are all the same as me,
the only difference being...you work...and I want everything to be free.

I tried the work thing...doing your 9 till 5,
but I'm not a robot...I want to feel alive.

When it comes to work...I guess that, I am a bit shy,
but who has the better life I ask... you or I?

I will rob if I have to...even scam and deceive,
and if ever I get caught...I can run...or just get up and leave.

I will never have a place to call my home,
this land forever more...I will continue to rob and roam.

So if you ever...see me in your town,
it might be wise...to bolt everything down.
