I miss loving you
But that’s not really true
It never really stopped
It just sort of grew

The feeling you gave me
The feelings we shared
Now that you’re gone
I’m left in despair

I sense that you notice

Would you take the news kindly
Or would you not hear it

You’ve moved on so quickly
But I haven’t changed
I’m still wishing the past
Could be rearranged

I’ll stay and take rest
For I know it to be true
That you and your boyfriend
You’ll soon be through

Not that I wish it
Or maybe I do
Maybe just maybe
I wish it were true

True to my word
I wont raise objection
But my feelings for you
Are hurt by rejection

We stay close friends
And we rebuild our love
In hopes that one day
I will regain my dove


It kills me inside
Knowing I’m to blame
If the past could be gone
It wouldn’t be the same

Why cant you see
That I never got over
The feeling you gave me
Turned my stomach over

I can promise my love
Because I’m no longer scared
I just want to continue
The feelings we shared

The picture you gave me
You said with a grin
Do you remember
When we used to sin

And think of each other
And share all the fun
Knowing what I had
You were my one

But I threw it away
In the absence of tact
Misery befell me
In one single act

No longer we cared
Or shared in the glee
But in losing hope
I refuse to see

Awaiting the time
When you are alone
In hopes that together
We can rebuild our home

It kills me inside
To know my mistake
But being without
Proves I was no fake
