Some of the nicest things in life
come out of the blue
like a chance meeting with you
as you begin your life anew

Lately I've met people So kind
So very kind
It makes me feel hopeful
and eases my restless mind

the feeling of kindness growing
nearly overflowing
I feel humble
undeserving

But you assure me its OK
Grace today came my way
and wiped some of my blueness away
when you said for me you'll pray

A friend to you I'll be
as far as I can see
But my surprise; your kindness toward me
when I came to comfort thee
