It is caring
Pure and simple
That reaches the heart
Like the calm
Of a fresh fallen snow

It is the trust
The innocence
That eclipises all other emotions
An inner voice
That somehow knows

That caring is a gift
Given blindly and without fear
To be a gentle blanket
To ease the burdon
Of another who we hold dear
