James Rodriguez out up to 2 months for Real Madrid after foot surgery - Real Madrid's Colombian star James Rodríguez had successful surgery to repair a break in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, the club said on Thursday.

The European champion did not say how long they expected him to be sidelined, but reports have estimated two months of recovery time.

Rodriguez appeared to suffer the injury in the 26th minute of the first half of his team's 2-1 win vs. Sevilla in La Liga on Wednesday. He went off soon after and proceeded straight down the tunnel to the dressing room.
