James Mills - What Light?
0 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
When darkness falls forever in your world
and seals you in the tomb of sightless
days, is there anything I can do?
Imagination fails.
It stalks you now. You are prey to the closing light.
Hounds of fear chase you in the bitter hours and for a moment you think the veil has fallen.
Still you wink and tell us that this slow seclusion will free you in some way. Some way we cannot see but reveals itself to you behind the black curtain.
Your words have sunk. Speech trips you up.
When gloom descends we'll send what light we have to spare. We care. We will torch your way as far as we are able.
