James Harris - My Favorite Tree
13 Views • Jun 12, 2014
Description
Let me stretch out in its shade
Or maybe we can climb up to see
The sun as it melts and fades
Maybe I will bring along a book
Let the pages get turned by the wind
Lean upon a nice bark filled nook
And read what great poets penned
Near old tree is where I will hope to lie
To forget the troubles of this world
I'll breath deep then let out a sigh
Take my book and like a ball I'm curled.
Tree and I must say adieu with the coming night
I'll be fine as tree is there with the morning light.
