Jake whaley - Darkness

I stay in my bed
Afraid of light
Afraid of the dark
I am weighted down by my kind

They stare at me
Not sure if I am breathing
Darkness in my eyes is all they see
But do they care?

They just turn they're head
'Oh he's just being his self'
They say
I close my eyes

And I start to think
Darkness covers me
It covers all pain, misery, Sadness
But is it gone?

It is still there even in darkness
my final thought and final breath
I whisper
'So long life'

I grab a knife
In it goes
Deeper and deeper
I crumble

I wait
Then I whisper to my self
'so long my friend'
I close my eyes

Darkness has conquered
I left life
Now the pain has stopped
