Jake Wertman - Karma

As you lay to rest.
I look down.
How does it feel bein on the ground.
Now your heart has no sound.
The weapon in my hand.
Now it falls next to you.
I walk out with no regret.
Im glad we met.
I turn the ignition.
Drive off like nothing happened.
A cop pulls me over.
I keep my secrets under cover.
When I get home I close the shades.
I lay in darkness.
Then I feel something squeeze my throat.
Then around my body like a coat.
It pulls me into the bed.
I open my mouth but nothing can be heard.
The skin on my throat starts to rip.
My veins start to drip.
As I slowly fall into the dark sleep.
I close my eyes.
For they are never to be opened again.
The day you die it will rain.
