I never wanted this day to come,
I never wanted to see you go.
I thought we'd be together forever
But you didn't see it so.

I know that we fought, but we always made up
I thought that love conquered all
Being with you meant I could do anything
But without you I cannot stand tall

I love you with every part of me,
From my heart right into my soul
Now that you're gone I can't feel a thing
I am empty and filling with cold

You said that you couldn't see a future with me
But I can't see any at all without you
All I want is to hold you again
To kiss you and just know that you're there

I feel like a child of five when I cry
And that's all i've been doing for days
Looking back at where I went wrong
I wish I could change my ways

For without you my heart is dying so slowly
I wish that you felt the same
I only want a second chance
To prove that i've lifted my game

I can love you forever, eternally true
My life would be all for you
If only you could see that a future with me
Does exist, and that we can be happy.
