Sweet dreams of childhood
Hopes of a brighter tomorrow
Still twinkle in eyes
Making sweet memories
Suddenly sometimes
When mind takes me back
To days of no fear nor worries
Those runs in the mud
Mom's glaring eyes, threatening
Calls to have a bath
Excuses mine
Heard not the call
Games more crucial than food
Running after mimic ships
Lost in those moments sweet
Smile comes
On face with tears
Making the bright sunshine dim
In days of temptation,
Memories having pleasure
Faithful companions
Now that lust rules minds
Man loves money more than man
Dreams have become nightmares
