Jagger labels Richards book 'a bit bitchy'
Description
Mick Jagger has described Keith Richards' autobiography as "a bit bitchy", the Rolling Stones guitarist said.
He also said the band is planning to tour next year and might record new material in December.
Richards told BBC 6 Music his bandmates had given the recently published book, called Life, good reviews but Jagger had said it was "a bit bitchy here and there".
Richards describes the frontman as "unbearable" in the candid memoir and said Jagger has "a tiny todger".
He also revealed his nicknames for Jagger are "Brenda" and "Your Majesty".
The band was "ready to go out there again", he said.
"Who said it should stop, and who said when?
"Only we will know when it comes to an end, with a crashing halt," he said.
In the book, Richards described his relationship with his songwriting partner, saying: "I used to love Mick, but I haven't been to his dressing room in 20 years.
"Sometimes I think, 'I miss my friend'. I wonder, 'Where did he go?'."
In a comment which could infuriate Jagger, who has been renowned for his sexual appetite, Richards writes about the singer's relationship with Marianne Faithfull, saying she "had no fun with his tiny todger. I know he's got an enormous pair of balls - but it doesn't quite fill the gap".
