Jade is influenced by blues artists such as Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, BB King, Albert King and many more. She is also interested in both jazz and pop artists which include Katharine McPhee and Demi Lovato.

In 2017 Jade was a member of the ‘CQU groove’ ensemble which performed in several venues in Cairns such as the Taipans basketball, the student expo and The Centre of Contemporary Arts (COCA). The ensemble was also interviewed by ABC radio and participated at the ‘Busk at Dusk’ event which was organised by CQU Creative Arts to break the world record for most buskers in a designated location all performing individual acts at once. In addition to group performances, Jade has also been involved in some solo gigs in and around Mossman and Cairns such as the Elixir Bar.
