There is a sea of sadness that I’m feeling
There is an ocean of heartache as well
Some things should have never been said
How much can one’s heart take?

When should one follow their heart?
When should one follow their head?
When you know parting is necessary to spare the pain
Already the pain is too much to bear

The timing of the truth is impeccable
It leaves you with no options
Can’t go forward and can’t step back
Staring right at the truth and watch it cut right trough you

Paralyzed and feeling the pain with every pulse
Can’t scream, can’t run, and get it to stop
Pain, heartaches, tears……
Suffer, regrets, giving up……

How do you say goodbye to someone dear forever?
How do you watch and anticipate the end of a precious life?
How will you let the dying one plan your future?
How do you take the comforting words from the suffering one?

How do you handle fate and its twisted and unforgiving ways?
How do you spare the sorrow and sadness of the one deserves to live?
Fleeting memories are what's left
Will it be enough to sooth the pain and lost?
