She runs screaming
Through the woods
Running from herself

Her thoughts
Her love
Her feelings

She's scared
Of what
She's felt

Her tears fall
Like a river
Falling down
Her cheeks
Leaving streaks
Of makeup
Her world
Is now
So bleak

Everything
Around her
Is turning
Black and blue
Reminding her
Of all her grief
That her misery
Is true.

This dark night
Turns to day
As she continues
Weeping
The darkness starts
To fade away
As the hours
Continue creeping

Finally,
She hears a voice.
And turns to see
His face
He picks her up
And holds her close.
He whispers
His sad fate

Her eyes begin
To fill again
Her lips begin
To tremble
Her hands begin
To shake again'
As he whispers
The words simple.

Nothing can ever
Tear us apart
Death is nothing

To see how far
