His greying hair
Blue eyes, cold
Nothing there

Something new
Contract to commit
Sign now, on cue
Breathe heavy, submit

Something borrowed:
Happiness
No escape burrowed
So, bare family bliss

Something blue
Those icy eyes
They are you
Frozen lies

Something silver (small)
Christening spoon
Be brave, stand tall
Dance life's sombre tune
