Jacqui Broad - Never Think

If I listened,
long enough to you,
ignoring all the pain
you are causing me.
If I opened,
my eyes long enough to see,
I will see, all the pain,
you're going through.
Never think,
that I am cruel,
inside my heart.
I am only protecting myself,
from hurting you,
and I hope, that you
will see it too.
Never belief, it's the end,
we have the start.
I am also struggling,
to comprehend,
feelings of war and peace and jealousy,
while I, m taking in,
everything that you say.
I think of you, as my only friend,
someone who belongs,
just to me,
but I'll rather keep this feelings safe,
for a rainy day...
