A tragic-comic portrayal of a man conned into killing a woman's husband , then hanged for the crime as the woman flirts with the soldiers attending the gallows. This song was never released on LP . The melody is very similar to La Chanson de Van Horst, title song for the '70s hard to find film Brel starred in, Le Bar De la Fourche.
