memories that haunt in the shadows,
buried behind a wall of broken glass,
Itching they're way to the surface.

Hauntings of the past,
disrupt your present,
and disturb your future.

Bad memories are the worst,
they corrupt your trust, faith, your heart
Good memories are the best though.
they remind us that happiness is possible,
they give us hope, strength and the passion to move forward,
to search for a love so true,
and happiness we could only dream of.
Memories, lurking in the shadows,
controlling who we are
and shaping our destiny.
