Description

Is it safe to say that what we once know is no longer fact?
That the belief itself is abolished by one simple phrase?

It is known that the facts can be blown away easily
and that trust and nobility can be absolved.

Our whole world comes crashing down
like a round paper weight falling to the floor.

It takes a few words to eliminate any prior knowledge
and it takes a dictionary to repair the knowns.

So why is it so easy to destroy our beliefs
yet so difficult to replenish them?
Shouldn't it be just as easy?

Should it be easy to rebuild a house after it was burned
when the fire was easy enough to destroy?

Our ideas and thoughts are the house
and the new harmful toxic facts are the fire.

Its so easy to destroy yet so difficult to rebuild....
