Jacob Guinn - Becoming Me

It was about 6 months ago, where I changed my mind
To become someone in the world, writing rhymes
About my life, telling the truth
Not like these other writers, who show no proof
I'm only 16 and my mind is full with hate
Time to take the time and write to relate
The things that go on in my life and what I do
To get through everything through and through
All in well, and all in one
Hopefully be the one by the time I'm done

Only a teenager but been through enough
Never on the green, always in the rough
I write about my life because it's all bad
And the good life is nothing I had

Today, is the day that the world flips
Slips, into my hands and in my hand it slips
Falling and falling down to the ground
I'm the only one who can be found
Found in the world, it all belongs to me
And now everything is clear to see
I'm starting a fresh life, new start
Writing is all I do, all from the heart

All in well, and all in one
Hopefully be the one by the time I'm done
