Jackson and Jill

This is an old, old TV show, one of the very first sitcoms shot with a 'multi camera' system. Desilu took the credit for this, but like most innovations, they were started by an independent. Pioneer Jerry Fairbanks tried hard to catch on as the first major 'strictly for TV producer', but in five years he was but a memory, with former independent movie producers like Hal Roach Jr. filling that bill.
