Inside. Outside. There’s work needing to be done.
It matters not whether the cost is little or a lot,
Whether it’s sunny or stormy, cold or hot.

Yes, I’ve some work to do, inside and outside~
Undoing some of the actions, the damage that I’ve done,
All too often it’s neither easy nor fun.

Inside. Outside. There’s work needing to be done.
A dressing up of attitudes, both the old and the new~
A purging of impressions, many or few,

Yes, I’ve still some work to do, inside, outside,
A planting of fresh seeds and some pulling out of old weeds~
Issues to address, dealing with wants, with needs.

Inside and outside, I’ve still some work to do~
A sharing of joy and some happiness to bring,
New lines to learn, to practice, new songs to sing.
