Jack Smith - My Final Fantasy

When I am high and want to die
I try and smile for a while
It does not make me feel okay
But I do it anyway

I stay the same for a day or two
Then I'm alright and quite ashamed
Then you see that I'm still me
Hiding from reality

The only love of my lonely life
Is unaware that I love her
Too scared to say how I feel
So scared it's making me ill

My one and only wish is that
She told me that she loved me back
You're not like how you used to be
You have changed dramatically

If we start to drift apart
Now you know you own my heart
The day will come for me to die
I don't know when I don't know why

But when it comes I'll think of you
I'll make believe you loved me too
I'll finally be happy
In my final fantasy
