Jack Nicholson turns 75

Three time Oscar winner Jack Nicholson is turning 75.

Nicholson's career in Hollywood spans five decades, and includes 12 Oscar nominations, making him the most nominated male in Academy history.

His most notable roles include the crazed, hotel caretaker Jack Torrance from "The Shining," and The Joker in 1989's "Batman."

Outside of his career, Nicholson is known as a Hollywood playboy, having been connected to numerous models and actresses over the years.

He is also a legendary Los Angeles Lakers fan and has been a season ticket holder since the 1970s.

Nicholson's birthday is April 22.
