Jack Leslie statue unveiling described as 'overwhelming'
Description
The granddaughters of a footballer who was denied a place in the England squad for being black in 1925 say they are "overwhelmed" by the unveiling of a statue in his honour. The sculpture was erected outside Jack's club Plymouth Argyle after a campaign was launched to honour his legacy.
