I aspire to be your boyfriend

but you didn't want a boyfriend
but by the time you're ready
you'd have already found a boyfriend
and it won't be me will it?
you won't have me as your boyfriend
Girlfriend
the person that i hold dearest to me
is my beloved girlfriend
it's what i wanted you to be
i wanted you to be my girlfriend
i invited you to my house for a date
and i asked you to be my girlfriend
but you're afraid of the after effects
and won't be my girlfriend
Just Friends
that's the kind of friends we are
we're what are called Just Friends
it's what i didn't want to be
how could be your Just Friend
I care the world for you
which is enough for me to be a Just Friend
I can't get you out of my head
because i know we're Just friends
those two words that sting more than anything
to be called by you Just Friends
