Jack Growden - Finality
1 Views • Jun 11, 2014
Description
And truth be told I remember little.
Though still nothing hinders my gaunt recall
Of your faint skin, cold and brittle.
A spirit which once proudly drummed,
Wooing us all to be bright and cheery,
Now could not manage a tune glumly hummed
At her end, morbid and eerie.
So in this hour I am left
To wait; then ponder; then miserably rue
All those missed chances which caused this grim cleft
In my heart, once endowed by you.
