I wish I might
I wish I may
I simply wish
My pain away
My sorrow leaves
The pain it stays
I wish I could
Just run away
I wish I could
Leave pain this way
But pain will chase
Me every day
As I lie still
At night I pray
Just to wake up
Leave pain astray
And live my dreams
Pain-free each day
It's so easy
It seems, it may
If only not
My heart it stays
