The day transitions

an end is here, the
sun signals a new

beginning, seeing
from my window

leaving the house
the sun starts its

ascension; I start
thinking about

opportunities
chances, risks

I’ve taken. I’m
not finished

yet life calls,
I’m still

young, alive
and well,

The sun rises,
New ideas

New beginnings,
New chances

Flowing
I see them

flashing in
my head,

images of a
new tomorrow

Sunrise
I’m ready

for my new beginning
