I know
I know without you telling me.

Your eyes say it all
But I saw
I saw without remorse.

That's what you get
For believing.

That's what I get
For trying.

And this is where I ran
To empty out my heart.

But what's there left
To pour
When I already emptied everything
The last time I fell?

I couldn't even make you smile
Even if its the last thing
I could probably do
Before you leave
And I stay.

Because I tried and I failed.
And you knew

but left.
