The moon goddess magic creates
for faults and flaws she compensates
The perfect beauty that you see
illusion not reality.
Its only fair that I should warn
that with coming of the dawn.
You may realise reluctantly
that in broad daylight you can see
the faults and flaws moonlight concealed
in all their nakedness revealed.
Perhaps she thinks the same way too.
A folly which was shared by two.
You take her number but don’t call
and if you did she’d only stall.
She is not smitten nor are you
without moonlight to cloud your view.
