ivor or ivor.e hogg - Manna?
1 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
untouched by careless passing feet.
The flash of crimson drew my eyes
as I walked down this dismal street.
A perfect rosebud still pristine
despite its sojourn on the ground.
A flower fit to please a queen.
I stood stock still and looked around.
There is no place that I can see,
from which the flower could have come.
I stoop and pick it up swiftly
a precious gift that I welcome.
Not for myself but for my love
an unexpected treasure trove.
