ivor .e hogg - Windborne
14 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
and if it’s lucky come to rest where the conditions suit it best.
To found another colony of plants that flourish happily
Far from the fields that gave them birth. A seed can travel round the earth
but it must go where the wind blows. Where that might be nobody knows
A seed will try its best to do what nature has designed it to.
Some seeds fall on fertile ground where their offspring will be found.
Setting seeds which in their turn will journey on the wind to learn
the joys of flying high and free. Exploiting new territory.
Some plants can be found anywhere and other plants are very rare
Depending on which wind they ride, seeds are easily satisfied.
They only know that they must grow. Wherever the winds choose to blow.
