none plucking at its silver strings.
She longs to feel a human hand again

Caressing her seductively,
drawing music from her soul

The bards are dead and silence rules,
within the empty marble halls,

Her gilded splendour is decayed.
Years have passed since she was played.

Shadows hold where music reigned,
There is no light or revelry.
She longs to feel a human hand again,

To play the airs that once she knew
long years ago when she was new.
