Description

The daffodils are dying now: Its time to make their farewell bow.
The tulips gay are in full bloom and there is only standing room.
In parks and gardens flower beds as tulip blossoms nod their heads, acknowledging the gentle breeze and visits by the busy bees.

The flowers understand that they have but a short time to display.
Each lasts for their allotted span; bring pleasure to the eyes of man.
Then each in turn will fade and die but leave behind a memory.
Which is concealed in bulbs and corms. Next year will reproduce their forms.

All part of nature’s master plan which she conceives because she can
see much farther than men do and so she takes a long term view.
She makes quit sure that very year the flowers in their turn appear.
It brings joy to the hearts of man to see the flowers bloom again.

Winter has gone and spring is due, the tender shoots are showing through.
The rich dark earth where they have slept Natures promise will be kept.
Though seasons come and seasons go each seed and tuber seems to know.
Precisely when the time is right to flaunt their beauty in sunlight.
