Statistically I should be dead.
I have passed threescore years and ten.
Or so the statisticians said.

But such an inexact science
is based on Joe Average.
They place far too much reliance

On all the figures they amass.
From which they draw conclusions,
applicable to every class.

Observations mistakenly
seen by experts as accurate
are overridden happily.

by common people every day.
Because they will not die to order
but choose to go their own sweet way.

Living longer than they should.
Thus proving that statistics lie.
There is no reason why they should.

Just to please the experts who
invariably get it all wrong.
As so called experts usually do.

They cannot tell me when to die
merely to help them prove their point.
Which makes an anomaly.
