Time stood still…as I looked in your eyes-
You hid your pain, you’re hurt inside.
Deep in your soul your inner child cries.
I walked by your side and held you in my arms:
We closed our eyes and hid from harm-
You whisper your deepest secrets in my ear.
You said it’s not death, but life you fear
Closer and closer we became…
Skies turned gray and clouds cried rain
My love for you will never change…
In my mind this moment will remain-
And though time goes bye, our love will never die
