Ivan Segreto, Sicilian singer/songwriter and pianist with jazz, swing, and easy listening influences, is not unlike fellow Italian Gianmaria Testa, or even Norah Jones. His first record, Porta Vagnu, appeared in 2004 to favorable public and critical reception, and he toured as the opening act for Franco Battiato. Fidate Correnti followed in 2005. His third album, Ampia, featuring guests Franco Battiato, Paolo Fresu, and Giovanni Sollima, was released in early 2007.

Ivan Segreto, cantautore e pianista, nasce a Palermo nel 1975. E' del 2004, Porta Vagnu, l'album di esordio che mette tutti d'accordo: critica e pubblico subito riconoscono l'eccellenza della sua musica nel panorama deinuovi cantautori italiani. I critici musicali votano l'album come "miglior debutto" del 2004 (Musica e Dischi) e il pubblico lo premia nelle vendite.
