Ivan Bolden - Mixed Emotions

Please don’t entertain me
Scramble and rearrange me
Falling into this false hood of confusion
You give leeway to this insanity
Why put forth the effort
When no one will listen
While you’re on your escapades of ecstasy
I lay impaired in this mental prison
And while you make these lethargic decisions
I stay impractical and decommissioned
Woe this dreary inquisition
Of the cold hearted men
That sacrifice their life and position
To support this senile superstition
Of this simulated redemption
Of a unified coalition
It’s because of those lethargic decisions
That we are now all in this mental prison
That escapade of ecstasy is now an escapade into the abyss
Those alluring thoughts of happiness
Now dismissed
Missions of wealth and knowledge
Unaccomplished
