[ISS] Crew Departs for Baikonur
Description
Expedition 29 Soyuz Commander Anton Shkaplerov, NASA Flight Engineer Dan Burbank and Russian Flight Engineer Anatoly Ivanishin participated in traditional ceremonies at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, outside Moscow on October 31, 2011.
Afterward, they departed for the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to complete training for their launch to the International Space Station in the Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft on November 14, Baikonur time. After arriving in Baikonur, they will conduct a series of prelaunch activities as they prepare for liftoff to the orbital outpost.
