Israel debates muffling call to prayer

Israeli legislators are considering a controversial law that would ban mosques from using loudspeakers to call worshippers to prayer.

A handful of European countries have similar laws in place and this latest proposal has sparked similar mixed reactions.

The bill's supporters say the amplified call to prayer is noise pollution, but critics say the proposed law is racist.
