ISIS gaining ground in Syria

Islamic State (ISIS) forces are advancing in Syria, but have not yet reached the city center of Kobani, the Kurdish village near the Turkish border. Kurdish militias have appealed for greater military support, but Ankatra has thus far refused to allow Turkish Kurds to come to the aid of the brethren across the border. Protests against the Ankara's embargo have been taking place in Turkey. teleSUR
