Away from the hounds of the day
Alone and free in the night -
With the light off
With the clothes off
I am me - face myself
I lay bare
I lay naked - None to stare at me
and this - in the Darkness
With my 'fake' hats off
My artificial smile vanishes
With debris of the day swept away-
I am clean and fresh in the night - in the Darkness
Darkness-Darkness come soon
Come soon- so soon
With your arrival, artifice departs -
'REALITY' comes in - with its bare face,
Bare and naked as I am -
in the Darkness.
